Well, apparently anything that Miley Cyrus puts her lips to is a little more valuable than originally thought.
The bids for the Miley Cyrus bong have jumped to $100,000! I have to say I find it completely asinine that anyone would pay that much for the bong. It will never be worth that much ever and it will only be interesting for another month or so until the whole incident fades away. It is a complete waste of money especially for the people that are bidding on it.
According to reports the following websites have placed bids;
ZackTaylor.ca: $50,000
TMZ: $75,000
Vivid Entertainment: $85,000 ( on a side note, the president of Vivid said that he would run the Demi Lovato sex tape if he could get it.)
Room101.com: $100,000
As you can see not one legitimate business person or company placed a bid. Only a person who's only business venture is a website or porn company would be stupid to enough to place a bid on this bong. It is a horrible investment. But then again, do you remember the .Com bubble burst in the late 1990's? If you do you understand that website owners aren't exactly the smartest people in the room.
The fact that Zac Taylor is bidding on it is hilarious. He should be saving his money because Miley Cyrus is suing his lying butt for an undisclosed amount of money. I have a feeling that he won't be in business much longer anyway.
